Sample letter-to-the-editor:

My name is XXX and I live in XXXX. As someone represented by [ADD YOUR MEMER OF CONGRESS], I implore them to reject Republicans’ proposal that will gut funding for child care, Medicaid, SNAP, and other programs our families need to survive.

This proposal  is complete lunacy. If parents can’t afford basic necessities or have the child care they need to work and participate in their communities, our entire economy will falter.

[ADD YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE]

We need MORE funding for child care and essential services, not LESS. All members of Congress should VOTE NO on this bill. We need our elected leaders to help families, not the super rich and billionaires like Elon Musk.
