About the Child Care for Every Family Network
Launched in 2021, the Child Care for Every Family Network (CCEFN) advocates for transforming the national-to-state child care system, resulting in universal access to equitable, accessible, high-quality, affordable, and culturally relevant child care across the country with a diverse, well-paid, and well-supported workforce.
CCEFN’s structure is action-oriented and centered on social justice. The Network’s coordinating committee – made up of organizations operating nationally and locally, such as the National Women’s Law Center, Center for Law and Social Policy, the United Parent Leaders Action Network, Parent Voices CA, and many others – work in concert with parents, families, and providers to set the organization’s priorities.
In the next three years, CCEFN will craft a long-term strategy to build power at the local, state, and national levels to achieve shared nationwide policy demands, developing a strong constituency of child care voters (and supporters) and by supporting a movement of leaders across the country who are making transformational demands. CCEFN is led by two Co-Directors, Erica Gallegos and Andrea Paluso.
