The Child Care for Every Family Network appreciates the Biden administration\u2019s commitment to working toward a future where child care is available and accessible for all families, and where child care providers are well-compensated and supported. The Executive Order released on April 19 is important recognition of the steps we must continue to take to support children, families, and providers across the country until we have the universal child care and early learning system we need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thousands of parents, providers, and community leaders have been organizing at the state level for years to make victories like this possible. The Network is thrilled to be championing the state-to-national model we need that recognizes the labor and expertise of the people who have been caring for our country\u2019s kids. We will continue to center and amplify the voices of women\u2014especially those who are immigrants and\/or Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and\/or Pacific Islander\u2014who are both disproportionately represented in our care workforce and most likely to be impacted by America\u2019s child care crisis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
